Students applying for the following scholarships/awards for the 2010-2011 academic year must:
When scholarship eligibility criteria require a minimum number of credits or grade point average earned, only college-level courses (numbered 100 and above) taken at Bunker Hill Community College and applicable toward a degree or certificate program will be considered unless otherwise noted in the scholarship eligibility requirements.
Students may obtain scholarship applications at the Financial Aid Office, Room B-213; Student Activities Office, Room D-106; Advising Assessment Office, Room B-216: Charlestown Campus. On the Chelsea Campus, students may obtain scholarship applications at the Front Desk in the Main Lobby.
Eligibility Criteria: New or continuing BHCC student who is a resident of Charlestown, MA, who has demonstrated outstanding service to the Charlestown community and is an active member of the community; continuing students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. Applicants must submit two (2) letters of recommendation from individuals familiar with the applicant’s achievements. As a condition of eligibility, the recipient must be available to attend the Bunker Hill Pre-Parade Breakfast held in June 2008 for the presentation of the scholarship.
Amount: In-state tuition and fees (up to 12 credits) for the Fall 2010 semester. Scholarship is renewable for the Spring 2011 semester if the student maintains eligibility requirements.
Application Deadline: March 4, 2011
